Clayton Hills Campground in beautiful Northeast Iowa
is just minutes from the
Mississippi River. Get in touch with nature by staying at one of
our all grass campsites, relaxing with family and friends. We have
the perfect spot for your tent or RV.
Clayton Hills is located
at the junction of County Highway C-17 and X-56 (also known as the
Great River Road), east of Garnavillo, Iowa. We are just 1 1/2
miles from the Mississippi River waterfront in Clayton, Iowa, just
about half way between Guttenberg and McGregor.
All campsites are well groomed
and include a fire ring and picnic table. Enjoy a hike through the
woods, converse around the campfire with other campers, visit a
nearby park, or fish on the Mississippi which is only 2 miles away!
Hiking and biking is encouraged; the adjacent River Road provides a
nice trek for bikers.
